2. What data we process
When you make a purchase, we process your order and billing data (name, address, email address, payment data). When you contact us, we process your contact details and your message. When you visit the shop, technical data is generated (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, browser and device type, pages visited, cookies).
3. Purpose and legal basis
We process this data to perform the purchase contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to comply with legal obligations, e.g. under tax and commercial law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), to respond to your enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR), to provide the shop in a technically secure manner (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, if you have given your consent, for newsletters and for analytics and marketing cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
4. Shopify as processor
This shop is operated via Shopify. Shopify processes data on our behalf for hosting, shop operation, checkout and payment processing. This may involve the transfer of data to third countries, in particular to the USA. For this, Shopify relies on appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses or certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). 5. Payment service providers
Depending on the payment method you choose, we pass your payment data on to the respective payment service provider (e.g. Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna, card providers). Their privacy policies also apply.
6. Shipping
For delivery, we pass on your name, your delivery address and, where necessary for delivery, your email address or telephone number to the commissioned shipping company (e.g. DHL) (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
7. Cookies and tracking
We use technically necessary cookies that are required for the shopping cart, checkout and security. Analytics and marketing technologies (e.g. Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, web analytics) are only loaded after you have given your consent via the cookie banner. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future.
8. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, we store your details in order to process your enquiry and for any follow-up questions.
9. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send you news about new one-of-a-kind pieces. Subscription requires confirmation of your email address (double opt-in). You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by emailing info@fabivintage.de.
10. Social media
We link to our Instagram profile. When you click the link, you leave our shop. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on its platform.
11. Storage period
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention periods (e.g. up to 8 years for accounting records, up to 6 years for business correspondence). We store newsletter data until you unsubscribe.
12. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time. To do so, please contact info@fabivintage.de.
